About the event

Team Aquanimity was formed because John had the crazy idea to swim the Channel in a relay, and started to put a team together and here the story begins..

John runs a coffee shop on Farncombe station and caters for the local rugby club, so he put the word out about his idea.

Kev runs the Godalming Deli and was "born to swim" so he jumped at the chance!

Kirstie however was a reluctant and occasional cold water dipper, who knew there was more to life than the stresses that were getting her down. So she took a leap of faith and decided to say yes and signed up.

They then found others, making a team of six consisting of two single mums and a fireman. And immediately, having all committed to a big scary goal, they each became lifelong friends. We'd love to share with you this talk aout their swim journey,…
